Not this again, being media relevant has nothing to do with the fact that the general public gives more **** about a certain celebrity or a pop star, it's beyond their control. Right now the music industry is controlled by media propaganda & social media, so at the end it's not about who is grabbing more headlines but about who is leaving their impact on the music charts around the world.

P!nk is smashing because the general public prefers her music more than Britney Spears for example and her reputation as a great singer and performer became more obvious as years go by, plus P!nk worked her ass off to maintain a professional level while doing her job, people notice that.
