Yeah she doesn't talk about them constantly so she hates them.
IMO, it's not HER fight to fight. She is a woman. If anything, there should be more gays addressing this sh!t. Gay people have to push the boundaries themselves. Action is the strongest form of expression. Beyoncé is by example showing women they can reach for the stars. Now we need gay people to do the same.
Beyoncé is a black female pop star who proudly wears the feminist mantle and does so in her music. Feminism from the black woman's POV is rarely acknowledged in mainstream feminism, so to have someone like Bey who's in a position to represent an aspect of feminism that is too often overlooked is a statement in of itself.

Preach. This is such a stupid thread. So because she hasn't made a song or video that screams "Look at me! I'm gay!", she's "segregating the gays." I'd rather she make universally appealing music than something so Born This Way-esque.
She has shown support in her own way.
It's hard for some artists to write/sing songs about gay inequality when they've never really experienced it. Bey has experienced racial prejudice and women inequality- that's why it's so easy for her to relate and sing about those topics. Personally, I prefer it that way. I don't want to hear a straight white woman singing about how hard it is to be a gay male.
Exactly!! (I caught The Shade)
I hate it when artist use the gay community for personal endeavors.
I respect Beyonce for supporting things She believes in, not just because she knows she has a big gay following so she has to make something for them. she's a GROOOOWN WOMEN!
She has an unreleased song with a hook that simply says "I am black culture". She def speaks of women's issues from an "urban" female perspective, for lack of a better term. From the slang, hip-hop confidence, lyrical content, etc.
She may not have a song specifically for gay rights, but she shouts out the gays in "Get Me Bodied" ("snap for the kids). Her Single Ladies routine incorporated J-Setting a style of dance popularized by the black gay community. The list goes on.
isn't there a gay couple or two in Haunted?
Besides many of the songs are very relatable for us gays anyways, does she need to sing GAYS GAYS GAYS to show her support?
I am pretty sure she does what she needs to in silence without announcing the world (like certain people) that she did something for the community
This.
Just because she isn't being all preachy about it like Gaga doesn't mean she doesn't support gays.
Because she's not a lesbian! Why would she make an entire album about GAYS when she isn't a lesbian? That's like Katy Perry making an album about the hardships of being an black female.
I'm not a confused tweeny bopper slitting my wrist in my room.
I'm a grown ass man. I can advocate for myself.
I don't need anyone to be my voice or my pillar. I have my own.
And I stand up for them with or without a celebs support.
***** stop your trolling.

Threads about social justice issues like gay rights/feminism/racism/etc are the worst on this site
Anyway, Beyoncé has stood up for gay rights. She's not obligated to dedicate her career to it but seeing as her fanbase is full of gay men she should show respect towards gay issues, which she does. I don't see the problem
