Well, ATRL has never been renowned for its ability to make predictions about pop stars and their commercial success, as we saw here just a couple months ago.
That said, she certainly did have all the makings of one. It wasn't that hard to believe she wouldn't have another solo hit. And she could still turn out to be a flash in the pan. Simply getting a second hit doesn't guarantee any more future success than getting a first hit does.
