Instead we got a mentally unstable mute that climaxed in the most anticlimactic way.

Prof X's death was pretty epic tho, I'll give that to Ratner.

i felt that Phoenix wasn't really secondary so much as it was a second leading plot.

like it shared "major" plot with the whole mutant cure thing. together they make up the premise of the film and it worked well imo. the character lacked much development and substance though, that's what i didn't like. but the plot was really good.

And they imo will never get any one as good as famke janssen to play her.

(was a nice surprise to see her pop up in the wolverine movie, giving me hope that she still might play her in a future reboot of that story - which could happen after days of future past)

I wish they had more black female superheroes. I'm tired of seeing storm even though she slay and "M." needs more coverage she basically the black Wonder Woman but better and stronger than most of her peers.

Yeah I think I put that wrong, she was a key part of the film, but her and her story was left so unexplained, she was hardly mentioned/discussed by any one

Which was a major contention amongst most fans. The Dark Phoenix story arc is one of the most iconic in comic book history, and should have been portrayed accordingly.

As far as Famke is concerned however, should there be a reintroduction of Jean Grey's character, I fear Jansen will be a bit too old to relate to, for a younger generation. IMO

I was so hoping she would be present in days of future past, but it seems like its not happening :jonny;

Unless they managed to keep her involvement quiet , but yeah they probably would have to use a younger actress in a reboot

Monet has come back to the adjective less X-Men comic recently and she looks so good in it.

They need to reboot the X Men series entirely.
I mean they had their chance but then they decided to incorporate the original trilogy instead of starting out fresh.

People don't even realize how deep and diverse the X-Men go. There have been so many versions, installments & revisions of the team & it's line-up. I'd like to see a series that focuses on a different version of the team.

I was joking w/the rules. There are no rules to this thread outside of ATRL's normal policy.

As far as the Hulk goes, he's just greatly overrated. He's dumb, impulsive & is a threat to no one when in his regular form.

Juggernaut (and not the film adaptation) is the superior being. It's science really.
