39. Ain’t It Fun by Paramore


The latest single from Paramore’s latest LP shows that they’re capable of doing anything. The song instantly puts me in a good mood when I listen to it. Incredibly catchy.

38. Summertime Sadness (Remix) by Lana Del Rey Vs Cedric Gervais


I never thought that this would work out nor would I imagine one of Lana’s songs being turned into a dance anthem. This is an incredible remix of Summertime Sadness and it makes me want Lana to more EDM, one can dream right?

37. Technicolor by Madeon

This song was teased by Madeon for practically the whole year and when it was released it felt anticlimactic especially after being hyped all year. Still a good song though.

36. All The Wrong Places by Example


Example’s return after the rather disappointing The Evolution of Man. The song has hard heavy hitting beats with a fantastic breakdown.

35.Hey Brother by Avicii


The fantastic song from Avicii’s album True combines EDM and Country in such an amazing way. Expect this to blow up the Hot 100 in 2014.

34. Disco Love by The Saturdays

One of my all time favourite songs by this girl band proving that they cannot do anything wrong. A cute summery song, with some references to Britney in it.

33.We Are One by Krewella


One of the highlight tracks from Krewella’s album. This song deserves to be a single as it would set the clubs on fire with its killer chorus.

32La La La (feat. Sam Smith) by Naughty Boy


One of the best songs to have came from the UK this year that set the charts on fire. The song is simple yet catchy and I expect it to be massive in the US in 2014.

31.Reload by Sebastian Ingrosso, Tommy Trash and John Martin

This song set the clubs alight and is one of my favourite dance songs from the year. Everything about this song is perfect.

30.Roar by Katy Perry

Katy’s first of three entries on my countdown. Roar has an anthemic chorus that just deserves to be sung at the top of your lungs. It’s a cute song as well and bops.
