They are flops and the thread isn't stupid because if Janet & Ashanti are such big artists how have their singles not reached the Hot 100. Ashanti has released two songs iTunes and they haven't reached the top 100 and Janet released Feedback and still hasn't reached the top 20 on iTunes for such a big artist. The person who started the thread asked if leaking dealt with why they flopped. Not one person brought up the term "leaking." You guys only talk about who is flopping.

Usually when an album leaks that's when they start flopping. They can't sell at all. People download the whole album before hand and whether they like it or not they don't buy it...

Well actually those mentioned are flopping with singles only. We don't know how their sales will be. You can flop with all of your singles and still have a succesful album (example. Joss Stone)

Now back to the topic, "leaking". Maybe with a song it does not, but when it comes to the album of course. Now days you download the entire album and just don't buy it. Those who downloaded and still bought the album are the supportive fans.

^^ Exactly people are getting my point, but useless people like "BEP Rocks" don't know what the meaning of the topic was. You used to anticipate an album for its new singles now, you hear it and like it but by the time it comes out it flops!

Like I remember when I anticpated Jesse McCartney's and Britney's CDs and they leaked within a week to two before it came out.

I didn't want to download it cause I wanted to wait til the day it came out to finally hear it, but I did download it and listened to it. When I went to the store next week (after hearing the album already due to the leak) I wasn't excited. I already heard it so I pretty much just bought the CD for it's case. Get what I mean?

With Jesse's next album though, I won't download it. I will buy it the day it comes out so I can be very anticaped
