I promised descriptors at this point so I suppose I can do that.
05. Wrecking Ball: so a lot of people didn't like it at first. I'm, however, not one of those people. I thought the production was slick, the chorus was triumphant, and it was just very cohesive and powerful. I still think this. Erm... so yeah, amazing ballad.
04. Young & Beautiful: even though I'm definitely not a fan (I thought Tropico was utter dreck), I can't deny the brilliance of this piece of music. For many of her fans, it's not even their favorite; but GOSH I just love it.
03. Sweeter Than Fiction: Taylor Swift meets Bruce Springsteen. Enough said.
02. Tattered Line of String: Before you read this, please do yourself a favor and listen to Give Up, which turned 10 this year (which makes me feel super old). I honestly find this song to be a continuation to the album,. It just blows my mind that something that fits the album so perfectly can be crafted 10 years later. Also got to see the band live, and this was one of the highlights of the show. Ben Gibbard's coo-ing is just >>>
01. Of The Night: This. damn. song. So, this year I became a massive fan of Bastille. Bad Blood, as you can already probably tell, is on my best albums countdown. But this. damn. song. It's kind of the best cover song ever made, to be honest. The video, which feels very David Lynch-esque, only adds to the haunting-vibes that the song gives up. Truly, truly, truly a brilliant piece of music. THANK YOU, DAN.
Wrecking BallS is cute. I didn't know Miley packed so much power in ha voice.
I also really like Play By Play from your song list.
+ We Can't Stop is a monster
