“Ultraviolence” is the upcoming is the upcoming second major studio album by American singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey. The title was revealed prior to playing Del Rey’s mini-movie “Tropico” at the Cinerama Dome, she announced to the audience the title of her next studio album. She said: “I really just wanted us all to be together so I could try and visually close out my [Born to Die/Paradise] chapter[s] before I release the new record, Ultraviolence“.
Little confirmed information is known about the new album. The singer has been recording songs in the studio with Justin Parker and Jeff Bhasker, who already worked with her in her last, and successful album “Born to Die” (2012). An alleged document from UMG and Interscope Records has been leaked on the Internet with some information on the album. As always, they are just speculations. Nothing is confirmed.
According to the document, the album release date is scheduled for July 6, 2014.
