I was simply implying and later on joking so calm down you pleb. You wouldn't be quoting me in the first place if it wasn't for my confidence and attitude in my posts. None of them would've. So it does make a difference when I'm aware of being a pretentious know-it-all. I'm able to play with it. Strategically, for the benefit of both parties.
You're saying Madonna and Gaga can be pretentious, because of their talent as an entertainer. Fine, but that doesn't make me any less worthy of being pretentious when it comes down to certain things I'm good at. This being the understanding of music especially compared to 88% of people here. I know what I know so I'm saying everything like a fact thanks to my confidence (with the obvious use of humor) which will either make you interested in me, make you mad at me, or make you simply want to ignore me. The reason it gets so blown up in this thread is because everyone is on the same page on how it usually goes down here. You have fans who defend their favorites and drag their rivals. It's the status quo. When someone comes along and basically trashes everything they know (mainstream and underground) it transcends into something else = a challenging change. This all thanks to my developed musical taste and knowledge. I can be pretentious, because I simply know my stuff. I just like to have fun with it by acting a bit rude since people are going to get upset anyway.

I will leave the 1D dragging to the Beliebers on twittard and the endless butthurt comments about them on random YouTube vids. I mean come on, aside from you being a fan of them, surely you must know that they suck right?
