For the Uni/College students, did you have a gap year between finishing school and starting further study or did you go straight to UNI after graduating? I'm currently deciding what to do
I did this, yes - and honestly I consider it one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life.
I learned more about life and growing up in that year than I did in all my years of schooling combined.
I highly recommend it. There's such a focus in our culture on expediting the school-to-career trajectory. I think it's really useful to just take a year and live a little.
I had a 2 year gap... I wasn't sure what I wanted to do and I was like really scared. Then I started doing Open Uni last year so I get to study from home. Which has it's positives and negatives
I think most students do, not because of a lack of stamina but more because they don't know what to go
for yet. That's my case, at least. I'm only going to go when I know exactly what I want to specialize in.
No I went straight to uni, and glad I did because it's been great and I honestly think that if I didn't I'd be sat on my backside bored as **** and my life would be so different. But yeah I knew what I wanted to do so I just went for it.
I need to sit in here because I'm contemplating it
I recommended it. It did wonders for me. I got to discover who I am and what I want in life. Now all my goals are set and now I just have to chase them. It's much better to take a Sabbath year then to throw yourself in school again. Learn what you want, experience life and being young.

Go straight through! The experience is worth it, and most people get lazy and never go. ALSO, I must say most colleges feel you should already know stuff, the fresher your memory of skills you learned the better in my opinion.
I say take a gap after you get your bachelors, to get your masters if you choose to go on.
