I was having a discussion with my best friend (who happens to model) today and she made the interesting observation that in fashion nowadays, primarily amongst younger models, most boys look like girls and the girls look like boys".

She pointed out that more and more girls are modelling with bleached or caterpillar eyebrows, strong, harsh features, etc giving them a manlier appearance, whereas more and more boys are modelling with pouted lips, long eyelashes and delicate features, making them look more feminine.

Do you agree with the statement? If so, are you for the apparent gender reversal?

It's true and at the same time, just like everything in "high-fashion", it makes no sense.

it depends. one look could be trending at one time. it's fashion - always changing. so her statement could be true for a short period of time.
