Britney single handedly changed the landscape of pop music to its current form. She's a legend and 20 flop eras extra can't change that.
Beyonce isn't even known for the music but for being a good performer/ very respected. She has no iconic hits like One More Time, Slave 4 U, Toxic etc.
Too obvious. Beyonce could literally NEVER
On July 5, 2013, NME magazine named "Crazy in Love" "The Best Pop Song Of The Century".
Beyonce as a solo artist was massive for a years, declined slightly worldwide, peaked again with single ladies/Sweet Dreams and declined dramatically with 4 and is obviously doing well again now.
Maybe she was massive in terms of tabloid headlines, but musically, Britney was not massive for that long. In fact, I can honestly say Womanizer was the first Britney song I had heard since Toxic.

Misspelling the titles of the iconic singles, I see.
CIL was a huge hit I agree, but it has nothing on Britney's debut single
Baby One More Time's iconicness is limited to the TRL generation who grew up with it. I would find it hard to believe that many adults or fans outside of pop music would have jammed to it, whereas Crazy in Love had pop and urban appeal, was not focused on one age demographic and remains seen as a superior song by music critics.

Oh k I forgot Baby and I Am A ...
That isn't misspelling, that's called abbreviating cuz they're so iconic, even leaving out words from the title and ppl still know what I'm talking about

I strongly disagree.
BOMT was the beginning of a new era in pop music. It's looked upon as one of the most influental singles in the history of pop music.
While CIL was a cute song, it didn't come near that impact at all.
