I really don't like OneRepublic, nor the majority of their music. This song stood out to me though, and while it hasn't converted me to a fan of OneRepublic yet, I'm at least one step closer. My all time favorite of theirs.
66. Cannonball ft Matthew Koma - Showtek & Justin Prime
Yes, this version of the song came out a week ago I know. I always cracked out on the original though whenever it played on C89.5 or Sirius BPM. And Matthew Koma is just the king of EDM vocals, and really improved the song.
65. What Love Is Made Of - Katy B
I'm an INSANELY huge fan of Katy B, and while this single wasn't to the levels of those from her last album like Lights On, Katy on a Mission, or Witches Brew, I still really enjoy her vocals and the track like usual
Wow, some amazing comments. I'm so honored! My last three for the night, enjoy!
64. Papaoutai - Stromae
Stromae is insane, this music video is one of my favorites of the year. I totally cracked out on Alors on Danse when that was released and this is just as good in my opinion. I'm begging for an English album, I'd think he'd do amazing here.
63. Wrecking Ball - Miley Cyrus
I really was a huge Miley Cyrus fan before she lost some taste in my opinion, however even though her image went downhill, her music was still great. Wrecking Ball is a fabulous ballad, and as apparent by my countdown so far I'm more dance and less ballad, but it's great. And she's close to me renewing a stan card - I just need a bop like See You Again to be official.
62. I Choose U - Timeflies
This is one song I was really surprised didn't smash, I love a good Jew duo and I definitely use Cal Shapiro. Fabulous dance pop, and would love to see them live
Papaoutai and I Choose you are nice! I don't really like Wrecking Ball, I used to be her fan when she was releasing songs like Morning Sun and Who owns my heart
Counting Stars + Katy B + Wrecking Ball and I Choose U!! the last one is really good.
Miley was amazing this year! I'm bipolar with Counting Stars, first I loved the song, then it bored me, after that I HATED it... but thanks to the radio, loved the song again Right now it deserves an applause
Good morning! Lovely comments y'all! Time for my next three!
61. Timber ft Ke$ha - Pitbull
How Pitbull stays relevant is beyond me, but he almost always can get at least a hit a year. Definitely a guilty pleasure song. Ke$ha looks amazing in the video too, best I've seen her.
60. Goodness Gracious - Ellie Goulding
Queen of Pop Ellie Goulding is definitely the most consistent singer out right now, and I'm such a huge stan not only for the quality of music but for how frequent she delivers new songs. This song is so happy and peppy, always gets me in a good mood!
59. Goodbye, Goodbye - Tegan & Sara
I liked Walking with a Ghost but wasn't a stan. However, gosh they delivered with this new album! Every song is lovely and quite listenable, but this is one of their best. This is my planned break up song, hope I never have to play it though!
That also leads me to my next floor routine for everyone!
6. Sae Miyagawa - International Juniors All-Around
Nobody would look at this 14 year old Japanese girl and think she has the insane tumbling ability she has. The first tumbling pass she did has been done by about five gymnasts ever, and she is only the second gymnast to ever dismount a four pass routine with a double layout! The other being the legendary Daiane dos Santos in 2011. Since she's a junior, she's not eligible to go to World Championships until 2015, however which does make her eligible for the next Olympics. Really hoping she can stay healthy and join her teammate Murakami as one of the best floor workers in the world.
58. This Is What It Feels Like ft. Trevor Guthrie - Armin van Buuren
I've heard this song all throughout the year and it's grown on me and grown on me. Armin Van Buuren is a legend DJ for so long, it's good for him to finally score a somewhat mainstream hit.
57. Take Me ft. Kyler England - Tiesto
The first EDM album I ever bought was Parade of Athletes in 2004 by Tiesto. Ever since, he's remained one of my top favorite DJs. Whenever he releases his radio singles, they are always amazing and Take Me is no departure from that.
56. Recover - CHVRCHES
Their album is so crazy, definitely one of the best of the entire album. Recover is among the album's best songs too. "And if I recover...."
