This was the year I became a stan of Katy Perry. "Prism" is the best pop album released in years and a huge step-up from Teenage Dream and "Roar" had to be one of the most infectious songs released this year. Embarking on a Worldwide Tour next year Katy continues to prove all the haters wrong who said she'd be finished after her "15 minutes of fame".
Hello everyone! This year has been a great year for country music. It was an EXTREMELY difficult task to narrow it down to fifteen songs but I managed. My only criteria for this list was that the songs peaked in 2013. When ranking them I took into consideration: LastFM plays, iTune plays, how many times I heard the songs on the radio and most importantly my personal opinion on the songs. Some of these songs may have significantly lower play counts than others but I believe "Most Played" and "My Favourite" country songs are two completely different discussions. I hope y'all enjoy this year's "Best of 2013, Country Songs".
