Marvin Gaye. Super Love. Got his Greatest hits prio to What's Going On & the rest of his discography after it.
The Supremes. Rihanna who? This chart topping machine is insane. Diana's heavenly voice, those melodies,... ah.
Otis Redding. Simply stunning. The voice, the delivery, the soul, the music overall... bye.
Aretha Franklin. No explanation needed, just say a little prayer for your faves.
Nina Simone. That voice, that pain...
Simon & Garfunkel. Those beautiful harmonies....
Sam Cooke. Pure soul.

Then there's of course The Beatles... duh.

+ James Brown, Ray Charles, Elvis, Chuck Berry, Roberta Flack, The Temptations...

And that's only a portion of the 60s... Let me not get into 70s

What let's Gaga join your little 60s/70s club? it's an odd combo; I'm curious.

I love The Supremes, The Ronettes, The Crystals, Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Jefferson Airplane, basically anything from Motown. I love that clean polished pop sound, but also the southern soul, and some of the psychedelic music from the 1960s. Also the ****ing Rolling Stones. Beatles are ok sometimes. So much great music.

From the 70s I use Donna Summer (Queen of Disco and Dance music in my opinion), Jackson 5, I ****ing love Queen, Sex Pistols, and David Bowie, oh and Blondie. So many other individual tracks also.

Best time period for music in my opinion. The slayage was legitimately real during these decades.

I use Pink Floyd, but it has to be the right song. I sparingly use LZ.
