I might be late with this or totally off base, but Superpower (song/video hoodies) was inspired by Treyvon right?
I've heard people say that. I dunno about it though, it's very possible.
Personally, I take Superpower as a follow-up to Run The World (Girls). She's clarifying what Beyoncé her feminism is. Feminsim, as the good sis Chimamanda defines for us in the previous track, is the "[belief] in the social, political and economic equality of the sexes." It's not about women "running the world" by reversing roles and putting down men—it's about men and women being strong and equal together.
And I thought I could live without you But together, we got plenty power
Ok, so I have been a member here since 2011. I never posted a thing I was always just following threads about Beyoncé. But this album slays me so much that I NEED to do my first post about it.
This album is sooo good. I can't even express how proud I am to be a Beyoncé stan. I knew that her new album would be everything but I couldn't have imagined the slayage. And I'm so happy that it's a huge success. She deserves it. The Beyhive deserves it.
I love all the songs and it's so hard to pick favorites. The only song that bothers me a little bit is No Angel.
OMG I'm so excited for the tour in 2014. She's gonna perform BEYONCÉ, right? Gonna buy tickets for Cologne tomorrow. I am beyond excited. Already saw her 3x this year.

I hope she finally gets that number 1 spot in my country. Germany has always been hard on her. This time she's gonna slay us.
Drop the bass, MANE, the bass gets LOWUH
Radio say "Speed it up"; I just go SLOWUH
High like TREBLE, pumping on the MIDS
Ya man ain't never seen a BOOTY like DIS
And why you think ya keep my name rolling off ya tongue?
'Cause when he wanna smash, I'll just write another one
I SNEEZED on the beat, and the beat got SICKUH
YONCÉ all on his mouth like LIQUOR

Nicki is a the premier feminist in hip hop right now. The feminists have used her since her iconic feminist rant. 16 bars right after the first "Goddamn, goddamn, goddamn!" would slay.
