I do both. It's not bad until you find out about all the extra fees you have to pay off (when selling) Still a good way to sell off unwanted junk though.

I buy from eBay all the time. I've never had any issues. Then again, all I buy from there are books, hard to find movies, and memorabilia. I go to Amazon for electronics.

my mom and sister use it and they've never had a problem with it. If the product isn't what the description said it would be or the product is defective, you can sue them.

I'd strongly recommend purchasing from Amazon just to ensure safety (they also have cheaper prices depending on what you're looking for, but eBay is better for the niche buyers).

Selling is a lot better on Amazon. Less fees and they'll tell you exactly how much money you'll make after fees before you list it. I've also found that I'm able to sell items for more on there. eBay will almost always side with the buyer even when they try to scam you so I prefer Amazon selling.

You can get better deals on eBay for buying depending on the product.

Make sure you're buying from a seller with a lot of feedback... fakes aren't uncommon.

EDIT: Checked the buyer's feedback on previous sales - 0 negative.

I buy all the time and I've only had 1 problem. Although the person had good feedback, the boxset never arrived.

Yeah I've used eBay for years. I've bought stuff and sold stuff and never had any problems.

If you're unsure about a seller before buying something then check their seller feedback and see what other people have said.

Always check the feedback on the seller cause there are frauds in there. Never had any issues, i'm very satisfied.

I prefer Amazon, they are much more trustworthy than eBay.
When I do buy from eBay, though, I do not bid on anything. I only purchase items from eBay that do not require bidding.
It's also a good idea to check out seller profiles on eBay and Amazon, too. Look at the buyer reviews of the seller, check out everything to see if the seller is trustworthy or not. And triple-check. Look into every single detail. I ordered a rare Adele CD single from Barnes & Noble's website, and when it arrived it turns out the seller it was being sold through was a fairly new seller that Barnes & Noble forgot to update the UPC numbers for on some of their products, and therefore I got the wrong CD. The one I wanted didn't exist. Look into stuff like that just to be sure.
