I think the entire Flamebait thing is absolutely ridiculous. As long as it's not outright offensive, I see no reason why any subtle shade should be warned. I don't understand why ATRL feels the need to be the moral police and punish people for saying something that's usually both true and funny. 99% of these pop stars we talk about are absolutely ridiculous in one way or another and it's boring as hell if we can't talk about things like Rihanna's forehead being the size of a $5 footlong.

I know it's important to have some rules in place, but the mods are on some FCC status trying to warn over small ass comments. I'm pretty sure a huge majority of the posts that are warned here are followed by at least 10 posts going or We live for that.

I don't have any problems with the moderating team. I feel like what a lot of the problem are people who actually do report posts. A lot of people report posts for no reason. It's kind of ridiculous that regular members basically have the power to go on a witch hunt and ban members. I feel like we should have keep the reporting down. I know that is damn near impossible though. It would require a lot more mods to be online to patrol all of the threads. With a lot of the mods being inactive, it's just hard.

Another thing I hate is that mods should probably check the thread that they warn and see if other posts in the thread need to be warned. I don't know if reports just show the post or if it takes you to the thread, but it would be fair if you went and looked at a thread because a lot of the time, there are more posts that are probably even more WP-worthy, but no one reports it because they don't care.

That's just me though. I think that the moderators are great though. Keep up the good work, guys. This is a great thread idea as long as people keep it cute.

Oh trust me, people reporting posts for giggles are starting to get cracked down on. Not only is it a waste of our time processing their reports, it prolongs us from addressing other needs of the site (i.e. troll threads, abusive posters, etc). I wasn't one to warn pointless reporters previously, but now, I think that's slowly changing because of people turning Kworb's monthly reports into a competition. I love competition, but not annoying ones such as this.

Honestly, it depends on how many reports we are processing, how well the server is cooperating, and how much time we have at that time when processing reports. Sometimes, we do have the time and continue to review other unreported posts in threads, but then there are times where we don't have the time or there are several other reports waiting to be processed. We can't see or review every single post or thread on this site, that's why we ask members help us in moderating by reporting posts and threads that new further review.
