Most of the time when we post flamebait or whatever, we would have gladly accepted the WP were we not mods (not that I can really speak for all of us)

Interesting tea about the new mods Also I don't really know how I assume you guys got compensated, but I thought it was something else besides ATRL+. You guys are too nice, devoting all that time to ATRL

I don't understand why ATRL feels the need to be the moral police and punish people for saying something that's usually both true and funny. 99% of these pop stars we talk about are absolutely ridiculous in one way or another and it's boring as hell if we can't talk about things like Rihanna's forehead being the size of a $5 footlong.
I know it's important to have some rules in place, but the mods are on some FCC status trying to warn over small ass comments. I'm pretty sure a huge majority of the posts that are warned here are followed by at least 10 posts going or We live for that.

I think we all go " " though because outright flamebait is (relatively) rare. This site would be literally so boring if there were no warnings for flamebait, the whole thing would just be "LMAO Xtina is a flop!!! LMAO Katy can't sing!!! LMAO Adele is fat!!!!" and personally I would leave ATRL asap. It'd be like an even staler SYG

It's kind of ridiculous that regular members basically have the power to go on a witch hunt and ban members. I feel like we should have keep the reporting down. I know that is damn near impossible though. It would require a lot more mods to be online to patrol all of the threads. With a lot of the mods being inactive, it's just hard.
Another thing I hate is that mods should probably check the thread that they warn and see if other posts in the thread need to be warned. I don't know if reports just show the post or if it takes you to the thread, but it would be fair if you went and looked at a thread because a lot of the time, there are more posts that are probably even more WP-worthy, but no one reports it because they don't care.
That's just me though. I think that the moderators are great though. Keep up the good work, guys. This is a great thread idea as long as people keep it cute.

Oh trust me, people reporting posts for giggles are starting to get cracked down on. Not only is it a waste of our time processing their reports, it prolongs us from addressing other needs of the site (i.e. troll threads, abusive posters, etc). I wasn't one to warn pointless reporters previously, but now, I think that's slowly changing because of people turning Kworb's monthly reports into a competition. I love competition, but not annoying ones such as this.
Honestly, it depends on how many reports we are processing, how well the server is cooperating, and how much time we have at that time when processing reports. Sometimes, we do have the time and continue to review other unreported posts in threads, but then there are times where we don't have the time or there are several other reports waiting to be processed. We can't see or review every single post or thread on this site, that's why we ask members help us in moderating by reporting posts and threads that new further review.

Mods do it more than that, though. Some members have gotten warned for one or two comments, which are like their only shady comments ever, while some mods can practically drag an artist over several posts on several different occasions and it gets by because they're a mod. It just seems unfair.

But now we're all with parity.

Kworb: Sigh, how to put this...... He's arrogant. He's kinda full of himself too, he feels like he owns us or something. That's how I feel toward shim.
Ace: He's so disrespectful to be honest, he ALWAYS ignores my questions on the Rate Registiration thread and answers others. I felt so humiliated repeating my question literally 5 times. he replied eventually, 2 weeks later.
Duca: Same as Kworb but to a MUCH lesser extent

But Duca isn't a moderator though

What moderator is sitting there repeatedly dragging an artist outside of SYG? Receipts?

I bet that person is talking about Katie but those 'comments' are harmless and still would be unwarned if she werent a mod anyway

Gurl, Kworb is the Beyoncé of atrl you don't come for him
Ace can be annoying at times
The third one shouldn't have mod status tbh

I mean, this has been my logic since I started my account here. You'd think more people would think like this too. Guess not...

Okay. Thanks for the reply! That's another reason why I think there should be a little bit more moderation on the site. It would help you guys go through all of the reports and there ARE a lot of reports each month in his monthly reports. Yet I don't think you guys are looking for even more mods after new mods since you guys did just promote a few of them. Plus with the final touches are being made with the server, I can see how it'd be on the backburner. Thanks again.

I just wanna thank whoever on Staff came up with this.

I don't think people realize this feature, it's the most underrated thing ever omg.
- You can bookmark posts/topics in there and not actually have to clog your bookmarks bar.
- You can ready a bunch of stuff in there such as OP's, Best of 2013 Stuff, etc.
- You can test lots of things in there.
If y'all ever remove this because y'all think it's useless I will meltdown.

I've never seen a mod drag an artist outside of SYG.
A mod is allowed to drag in SYG, considering well, it's SYG.

You never know when we are looking. The last batch was done almost in total secrecy with no announcement until their appointment.
