Are you sure the original is fake? Maybe she was singing live the whole time (as seen in the IG video) but NRJ messed up the TV coverage and played the song rather than live audio.

Yes, I saw the actual video somewhere earlier but I can't find it now. A lot of people I follow on twitter were watching it live from a stream too and my timeline went crazy when the show messed up and she had to stop singing.
I don't even really know what happened because the guy comes on before the backing track stopped but there was some sort of technical difficulty.
the host cuting the song, OMG, Katy sis, I though she would never surpass Firework at the AMA's but I think she just did
