I like PH for what it isn't moreso than what it actually is (which is kind of the point but idk).

How are these BLÉACH singles gonna work?

How are they "sending songs to radio" if they're all like, on the radio already? That the video's already filmed and is already being viewed by everyone; people of which will have a pre-defined opinion of the song? The hype is here and it's in the right now, how is she going to push something in the coming weeks and months when it's already been pushed now?

Be interesting to see how this all turns out. She risks all momentum being dried up pretty prematurely. Blow was the correct choice for 1st single. Time will tell if she chooses the correct 2nd (the answer is Pretty Hurts by the way; XO an acceptable substitute).

I dont get why people say this like Rihanna was the first popstar to serve raunch. Beyonce's been doing the sexy and ratchet image since Destinys Child days. This album is pretty bold and she says alot and she actually shows personality in it. It reminds me of Bday because of that. Diff. is Bday was loud and upbeat and this album is like the lowkey & more sensual version.

Pretty Hurts is so bland tho

and I see way more Madonna influences on this album than Rihanna

Let me not get started on PRISM

Bey will sell more this way than she would have by doing the typical release pattern. It's not like this album has a ton of massive single potential songs on it. XO is the only one that could be really huge IMO.

If she had released a lead single and it flopped like RTW did, she would've lost all the hype leading up to the album. This way she erased the possibility of that happening.

Both of them are the same to me. I like the first two tracks of PH. I can repeat both of them like three times and still not get sick of it. I've never cared for Royals. Then you have a few other tracks like Team and the last three songs that I like, but the album loses its steam pretty quick. Still, it proves it has replay value which is a good thing for an album especially a debut.

Then you have AP which is a ****ing mess, but I still like to bop to some tracks. Venus was a grower. DWUW is cute. Fashion! is underrated and underappreciated imo. It's like a Fame track, but with updated 2013 production so I like it. And then you have Applause which I liked from the start. I hate Dope and Gypsy. Everything else is decent to meh.
