That not true since Bey followed in same path of #NewRules sudden release created by Jay and Kanye. She just put a twist on it by making it a visual album.

Well for one i would hope she would be courageous enough to put her individual singles on sale, and with that being said she would probably end up topping the singles and albums charts basically.

No one would notice that she released anything.

Less successful than 'Beyoncé' because this Beyoncé album was SO anticipated, people are so here for her, while Rihanna almost always has a new record out.

She'd probably debut bigger, but she would be very front loaded, have no longevity, and Bey will ultimately prevail

Let's not forget Rihanna is a very sexy girl so she wont have trouble selling visual work.

I think it would do well but not better than Beyonce's.

It would probably open up with 150,000 and have a slow and steady life span like most of all her other albums.

The key would be for Rihanna to continue her musical break and when it comes time to release a new album, have a strategic and organized plan for the singles. And let them breathe for a while. Her last two eras were so messy with the single releases/music video releases... Having unfinished songs on the albums

I think all those things played a small part in her album sales. They could've been better. Like someone else said, Rihanna needs to make her album releases more of an "event." Which she could easily do but for whatever reason, her album cycles are messy as hell.

I wouldn't want her to do this anyways, I want a big EVENT for her next album but everything isn't for everybody.

Beyoncé's name is more affiliated with quality than Rihanna hence people are more likely to make the decision to purchase a Beyoncé album on impulse than a Rihanna album which requires a double digit week #1 to convince the buying public.
