I wonder how the era will pan out. Will she add other legs to the tour to perform the new music? What will radio play? Yeezus and MC still had singles.

She has a 2 month break between the new act of the Mrs Carter Tour and the last ones, so she'll probably do appearances. I think there is even room for the GRAMMYs and BRITs.
She also had Pepsi spam an unreleased song, so I'm not too worried about the campaign.

Something tells me there's a second component to this project that won't be revealed until some of the smoke clears.

Whether it's a smaller-scale EP with a few radio-friendly songs to swallow, I'm not sure. But I can't shake this feeling that she's not yet through with releasing new music.

Of course, a couple of the songs were probably finished last year already for version 1 of the album that she wanted to release post-Super Bowl. But the idea to turn it into a video album and release it like this came later.
