I think it would sell well since people normally expect an album from her every year.
So if she was to go a year or two without music and then just released out of nowhere
people will buy on impulse.

depends on the music and if you're talking globally or in the US. Unapologetic had a very rushed promo campaign (nothing like this though)

I don't think there would be as much media hype though.

If Rih did this tactic first, she would have sold more than if she did this tactic after BEYONCE.
But for now, I'll say same success since Rih does have a larger fan base.

Less because people are not that thirsty about her. She would also need to pull something really dramatically artistic & stylistic in order to do it.

And I am satisfied she is handling her album releases the way she does.

I think this should be the new model for huge artists like Beyonce, Rihanna, Gaga who are so large that people anticipate their albums so much that once they leak the week before everyone downloads as soon as they leak.

Idk how well she would sell but I think she'll be doing this with #R8 minus the videos.

What I noticed is it wasnt only her fans talking about it or the stan world, it was literally everyone so I dont think its fair to use the "her fans were dying for new music" excuse, unless the entire GP are her fans
