I can understand why people might not like Hiders and Come Down to Us. They seem more pop-oriented (especially the beat at the end of Hiders) but I still think they're amazing and really unexpected. The first track does have the perfect balance of old and new though and I guess it's what people are looking for when it comes to Burial.
I never thought that electronic music could be this emotional. "Rival Dealer" is probably his best song and those last 2 minutes are glorious. Jai Paul could easily sing over "Come Down to Us" instrumental. I think it's time to change my year-end list of best albums.
