In the case of violent/sexual attacks, some argue that the victim may have been "asking for it" by acting or dressing in a provocative manner. Similarly, in the case of theft, some blame the victim for perhaps not securing their property adequately.

Do you agree that it can be the fault of the victim in some cases? Or is victim blaming never right?

Personally I think that although the victim wasn't asking for it and can't be solely blamed, they should acknowledge that their behaviour/manner may be irresponsible and that they weren't setting themselves up well.

No, it is never the victims fault.

It's just what people who do those things tell themselves to feel better about themselves.

no matter what someone is dressed like, how drunk they are of if they're flirting, no one deserves to be violated in such a horrible way. I'm pretty sure survivors of rape feel bad enough as it is about how they could have stopped it they dont need other people telling them.

I don't agree but some times they get into that situation acting ****ty and stuff but it's not 100% their responsability as some people make it seem.
