Twitter isn't making any money, though. No profit. I heard they were actually losing money. A lot of money.

So they'll need to make drastic changes to stay alive. Otherwise we'll just have faint memories of it, like AOL, Myspace or Piczo.

I've definitely agree that FB is dying down, but i don't think it's over. I have many people that are active, but A LOT moved to Twitter and Instagram.

Facebook will stay, more adults use it.

lol twitter is for kids and tweens, no adults use it for personal purposes. facebook will always be relevant for keeping touch with friends and family

Facebook can be as boring or as interesting as your own life & friends are. It will stay relevant.

I see Twitter as more of an American thing - I don't know anybody that uses it as a legit social-platform, it's just celebs & politicians & people who give a shiz about them.

Tumblr will stay a ****-breeding ground & tween zone.

Instagram will fizzle.

Facebook is essential, I mean no other social media has an effective networking and communication base facebook has.

Facebook is a staple. It's integrated into every site and it will always be the most easiest way to communicate with family and friends. It will last in the long-run.

Twitter will remain for now unless something comes into direct competition with it. Something big like on Instagram's level would have to threaten Twitter a bit for it to start fading. However, twitter will fade eventually because only kids and teens use it. Anything they use can/will fade once something new comes along.

Instagram and Vine will remain for now until the bigger level site like Facebook and Twitter completely eat their features.

Tumblr will stand the test of time because it offers way too much that isn't on the others (tons of privacy *which is huge in this day and age*, nice pictures, gifs, leaked music and videos for days, etc.). Also, Tumblr's demographic is mostly 17 - 30 which is a good demographic that is more likely to stick with it.

Only Facebook will stay. It's more useful and way more global than Twitter.

This, when I read people saying FACEBOOK IS DYING, this is my reaction



Spanish people don't use Twitter as much as Facebook, it's more about Facebook being more for ''ordinary people'' and Twitter being more of a snob place
