Is it really necessary to add your signature line to a song?
For example:
The producer of Chris Brown's "Wall To Wall" has a line in the song "Yeah smash on the radio *bet I penned it!" which is also featured on Britney's "Toy Soldier". Does it ruin the song?
Also Akon on some songs he produced for other artists like Nicole of PCD he has this "Konvict" on the start of the song whcih was also on every track on his album?

Also on Nicole's "Whatever U Like" - i think its cool.
oh and its "yeah smash on the radio bet i penned it!"

Hahaha...I was like, um Im pretty sure thats not what it says...hahaha...I think its fair enough to give credit to the person who WROTE the song and not just let people think the artist wrote it. If they are putting in the work, why not get the credit?!? Dont like it? Then listen to artists who wrote or at least co-write their songs...
^ LOL sorry for getting it wrong I was like watched wall to wall on tv and I said to myself "i will try to remember what that line is" and there it i messed it up

Haha...understandable. Its always fun to see what people think certain lyrics are and then read the actual lyrics. Sometimes really big fans can get their favorite artists songs wrong because they just hear something different. Its funny.

Yeah cause other people who are not used to hear english like me cause we use different languages in our country can really hear different.
The "Konvict" with the jail cell clank has gotten really annoying, but what I hate even more is artists who reference their biggest (and in most cases only) hit in every way they can like Soulja Boy and MIMS.
