if the movie had a traditional ending, it would take away from the realness of the movie and be too "hollywood". The whole movie is basically a government tape that was found and we're just watching their experience. Its like we're there with them.

yeah the ending was super random but i mean, what can you do...*spoiler*maybe they didnt die at the end. Lily was my favorite for the whole movie so i'm glad at least she survived. I liked Morlena too.

I want to see this movie again so badly.

I can't wait til it hits DVD so I can watch it over and over again on repeat.

SPOILERS: Does anyone know where I can find pictures of the parasites that jump off the monster? I have seen the movie but i'd like to use an actual picture of the parasites (not a drawing) for a school project. All i can seem to find are pictures of the actual monster

Did Lilly ever have the camera? You cant honestly say, "I know the movie's point is to have the camera, but...". The movie was simply a home video someone took of this even while it was happening, right from the thick of it.

You wouldnt know what happened to Lilly after she went up in the helicoptor because Rob, Beth, and Hud did not know what happened to Lilly after she went up in the helicoptor.

Also, we dont technically know if Rob and Beth are dead. The camera only shut off, we didnt see them die on film, unlike Marlena and Hud.

Good points. A sequal will most likely happen. It sold over 56m in it's first weekend. Usually that means a sequal. Unless it's a flop, it could happen.

Can we talk about why the monster came out and where it came from?

According to the video I posted it said a satellite hit the ocean in the minute of the movie (well it was really before the movie started....) and I guess that caused the monster come out of the ocean. You think that's right?

Or they could make a documentary type movie and explain how it all went down and all.

OR

If the monster is still alive, they could actually make it from a real movie's point of view (not the shaky camera idea) and then throughout the movie while fighting the monster still, they can go to snippets of scenes of scientests explaining how and where this all came from.

But who knows what will happen. The movie business can do anything with their minds. All the characters can die and they can somehow twist it and make a seqeal with that lol. Movie Magic
