then what is he all of his albums, including The Heist, are independently recorded, distributed, and released. The only thing he gets label help from is packaging the physical CD's to sell in stores.. And that's not label help. It's some other company.

They hired Warner to push their music. That's not being totally independent. And packing a physical CD to sell in stores is a form of distribution, so they are in fact distributed by a major label.
