I've been playing the game on my iPad for about 2 weeks. It's fun, and the race tracks are impressive.
I'm only now starting to get tired of it, but it's not because of the gameplay itself, but rather the way game is set up, requiring you to level up in order to advance to new tracks. Of course, you level up by either collecting coins during gameplay that you later use at the car workshop or you speed up the process by
buying coins (this is where Rovio tries to get people). That aspect is getting annoying now as I'm tiring of playing the same track/mission over and over to collect coins.
Plus, once you complete an area (3 tracks per area), in order to advance to the next area they create this arbitrary rule that you must purchase a new car in order to race (using either coins or real money). So, then you go back to repeating old tracks 10-20 times to raise enough coins to purchase a new car. And then you have to level up that car again. lol. Also, the fact that they sell special race cars (in-app purchases) for as much as $50 is pretty crazy.
I wish the game had legitimate drifting and boost combo like in Mario Kart racing. Also, there is a special power that you can use during each race (it could be a weapon or a boost depending on your character), but you can only use it once... unless you pay to use it more times (which is crazy and a form of price gouging).
End rant.
