The Constitution can be changed, these amendments can be repealed. People already talk about repealing the 2nd Amendment because the world has changed.


So just repeal the 1st Amendment. The world has changed. It's not 1791, America.

It can be dangerous. Why do you think the powerful have always tried to control it? Like they say, "the pen is mightier than the sword". Especially in this day and age where everyone is able to read and the internet beckons.

No. There's nothing wrong with swearing. How about we focus on things that are actually causing harm, like, I don't know, discrimination, gun violence, awful healthcare, etc..

Anyways, two things:

One, I don't see how swearing is beneficial to society. And two, I never said they should control all levels of speech. I said there should be some reasonable limits placed on it, for the public good.

WTF no. I read some news about a study that determined people who swear a lot tend to be happier. It should be encouraged tbh
