A chatty nutjob who allegedly kidnapped his 5-year-old niece ranted though his spit-guard muzzle in court Friday after singing Rihanna in the hallway and harassing passersby.
Ramel Robinson, 29, was charged with kidnapping, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal mischief after allegedly luring the child out of her East Harlem apartment around 11 p.m. Tuesday.
The judge ordered him held without bail for a psychiatric examination — which just set him off more as he yelled through the guard.
Robinson allegedly picked up the child and took her to a hotel room he shared with a girlfriend.
Prosecutors say he lured the little girl -- who was found apparently unharmed in front of the Apollo Theater on Wednesday afternoon after an NYPD manhunt -- by saying he wanted to play a song for her in his car.
Once in the vehicle, he allegedly drove off with her.
Robinson's bizarre behavior in the courthouse spanned the morning as multiple lawyers tried to reason with him and he apparently tried to spit on them. While restrained in the hallway he sang and shouted and at one point leaned on the floor and kissed the ground while handcuffed.
"Yo, homeboy!" he said, addressing one of the cops surrounding him.
He also treated courthouse visitors to his melodious rendition of "Diamonds Remix" by Rihanna and Kanye West.
"High society,' he boomed. "We in this party and nobody invite me."
A short time later he was in court, blabbing about his right to go pro se after sparring with court appointed lawyers.
Peterson ordered him held without bail and a psychiatric fitness exam.
