Some were being a bit harsh on her, but she really cannot act. She sang beautifully but it was a complete miscast. She should expect criticism if she takes on acting, because she stinks.

I normally like Carrie but this is ridiculous.

Her acting was TERRIBLE. Her and all her stans can make excuse after excuse but bottom line is she took one of the main roles in a popular musical and did terrible.

You can go on and on about how great her vocals were(which I will admit were fine) but at the end of the day 50% of her job was acting and she didn't cut it. Her name brought viewers but I can list dozens upon dozens of people with actual musical theater backgrounds that could've done as good if not better a job vocally and brought legitimate acting skills on top of that. No Carrie isn't an actress, but she took a job that not only required acting, but one of the main roles in the entire production.

If anything she should be issuing an official apology for taking one of the most well known musicals and serving us that filth in the first place, not giving us biblical scripture. This was as bad as Vanessa Hudgens in the Rent Hollywood Bowl, except this didn't have the good sis Nicole Scherzinger to save the day.

Ms. Underwood simply did not do her job well. Plain and simple. Praise the lord.

I assume her fans are aghast about this as they were when Lord said there's a special place in Hell for women who don't help other women?

Some were out of the line, downright trolling. But there are also some fair criticisms from big publications. They are just calling a spade, a spade.

Her acting was bad, but the ratings was good. I don't think she needs to be pressed. So I'm disappointed really.
