But i want to add that Shannen Doherty was dating Julian McMahon during season 3, and when we know all the hot/erotic scenes between Pheobe and Cole, it didn't help at all ...

Anyway i've read some horrid stuff about the way Shannen treated the whole technician crew (she directed a few episodes) and how they were all relieved during season 4. Too bad because Shannen was maybe a bit Cray but she was the one keeping the show dark and believable, she obviously had a vision for the serie, maybe too much for others ...

The recent tweet where she respond to Alyssa Milano and say there was still a lot of things left out says it all ...

Cause her and Alyssa always had fights on set. Shannen is such a bitch, she always causes trouble on whatever project she works on wither it be 90210 or Charmed.

Shannon is the reason that show was any good.

Its likely Shannen had been wanting to leave the show since season 1. That would explain why there are numerous episodes where she is presumed dead, but she turns out okay. The way she died in Season 3 though was pathetic. Like what kinda wimpy ass throw and she (the strongest) dies and Piper survives. I think they were hoping for her to return, she left and Aaron permabanned her from any of his future projects.

That maybe true for Berverly Hills but Charmed peaked during season 5.
It wouldn't have had 8 seasons if it peaked after season 3 sis' ...

But she left Beverly Hills in season 4 and that lasted 10 seasons

Her leaving didn't really hurt either show, but had she stayed I think there would have been more opportunity for them to keep growing for at least another season or two.

I'll explain.

Shannen was feuding with Aaron Spelling and Brad Kern. She wanted the show to take a darker direction and they both disagreed with that. She and Alyssa also started having problems during season 3. Shannen was fired while filming a TV movie in Canada in 2000/2001. She wanted to quit, but they wouldn't let her and then fired her anyway.

The whole situation was messy. I do wish that Prue could've stayed.
