Both "Royals" and "Rolling in the Deep" were HUGE crossover hits and were the biggest hits of their performers (even though Lorde is still pretty early on in her career). Lorde has been heavily compared to Adele in her writing styles and some seem to think she could be the next Adele. Which do you prefer? "Royals" or "Rolling in the Deep"?

Both are great, but "Rolling in the Deep" is definitely the superior song and WAY more successful. Plus, I have some very personal connections to "Rolling in the Deep". It will be more remembered in the long run anyways.

I'd be fine with "Royals" or "Wrecking Ball" winning at the Grammys, but it depends on which award you're talking about. "Wrecking Ball" is one song where Miley actually deserves an award or two for it. Like, I don't approve of a lot of her actions and stuff she's doing right now, but "Wrecking Ball" is a phenomenal song and one of the best of her career. I wasn't impressed with the majority of her album, but that song deserves at least one award at the Grammys.

Personally, I prefer Rolling In The Deep. However its so overplayed now that I can't even listen to it.

Royals will age better so that. I can't stand Rolling In The Deep anymore. I avoid radio too so it's not like I've heard the song that often in the first place.
