But the song was released in March or something, wasn't it? So that's still a while after release. And didn't it start to dominate the US charts (iTunes) around August or so?
Also, I didn't really know much about "Blurred Lines" until it started to dominate the US charts, either. The fact that I put off listening to either song for a couple of weeks may contribute to my memory of them being later than what they actually were, too.
