No why would Katy want such a damaging era on her resume. The tour numbers were nice but it's quite funny to see the monsters push receipts in people's faces and then thrown the era under the bus because it "damaged" her brand and was a cause for the underperformance of her single and album.

But that's just the thing: Born This Way, as an era, was a slight misstep by GaGa's standards, yet it completely blew most artists out of the water. So yes, us Monsters can pull out receipts from the era because of it's success, yet many of us also tend to "thrown the era under the bus" because it wasn't as successful as some of her past eras.

I stan Gaga a bit but I agree with you. Back then me and a some others were doing smoke signs to Gaga to get her **** together but we were met by angry monsters claiming everything was going perfectly and proceeded to shove the aforementioned receipts down everyone's throats. Now that the side effects are clearer then "of course" BTW was a misstep. NOW they are willing to accept it out loud, but well that's how things were meant to be. I really like ARTPOP so I'm in good terms with Gaga now and I don't care about the GP.

BTW is a smash hit, with selling 9 mil copies WW. Katy will never have a hit as global as BTW, which slayed everywhere, hell, it's one of the biggest international singles of the decade in Japan.
PRISM won't outsell BTW, which has sold 7 mil WW.

Dark Horse is getting bigger while it's a promo single, the TeoG of the era: big hit single on radio, flops in. A few countries.
