Guarantee you if she pulled that 0.99 discount like she did with BTW, ARTPOP would have a huge change in numbers and we wouldn't be sitting here getting dragged for filth about opening numbers.
I mean both albums are those type of albums that go against the GP's views or taste. It's not like she released another Fame or The Fame Monster. These last 2 albums needed a bribe for the GP to reach into their pockets.
Gaga in my opinion is seen as a guilty pleasure to the GP, so she probably gets more illegal downloads than actual legal purchases. It's like all the people are afraid to been seen listening to her, yet they love her music in private.
