Why are all of your faves underperforming?

Miley does the most to get attention but she still isn't platinum.

Lady Gaga saw a huge decline with ARTPOP.

Britney hasn't seen the top 10 this era and is doing only 100k her 1st week.

Katy's album sales aren't that good this era and Unconditionally is flopping.

People stopped buying albums

Uh, how much did male stars open ? How much did taylor or madonna open ? Yes this is really the matter of people not buying albums.

And to the question:
1.) music is not interesting and quality enough
2.) they use the old gimmicks and customs and people are tired of them
3.) people have moved on in some cases

My faves are seeing Top 10 success, so that's something.

My fave isn't under performing.

Not a single album sold less than 5 mil since 2006 when ha career got started.

They may be underperforming, but at least our faves give us music

I think it's the perception people have been getting towards pop music, and what they categorize as actually being "pop".

And Beyoncé didn't release anything...

Kelly and Lily are doing amazing actually. Britneys not doing so great but thats what happens when you do only like 10 appearances and not a single performance before an album release
