People are still not aware of how this disease gets transmitted that's why it has spread so fast. But to lock up patients infected with this strain of HIV disease is inhumane and unethical.

what's worse, locking up 5-10 people with the disease or letting it spread to millions of people as HIV 1.0 has done? If they woulda caught it early and quarantined the people with it, we wouldn't be having an HIV/AIDS problem today.

I tried to access to the research paper but I got to subscribe. Anyway I don't think we can generalize from this study alone. The research alone can be biased and the sample size used was only 153. So statistically speaking, I don't think this research has that significant impact to the nation based on sample size they used.

So it's very inhumane and unethical to quarantine the people affected with this strain based on this research alone.
