I politely disagree as well. What a label ask the artist to do in mv doesn't relate to quality. Also, you mentioned safe video, safe = low quality?
Rihanna WFL and Diamonds videos are very good. Even STAY also, simple yet clean and beautiful.
Katy's ET, LFN also good, at least they manage to increase more listeners after seeing the video.
MTN and TEOG plus BTW is just... not good. Especially MTN. I just hope Gaga has one, at least one MV than is comparable to other pop artist. In b4 monsters come to me and claimed TEOG and MTN are the videos of the year with full meaning.
Applause is better than roar video though.
