in the first two Quarters we had songs like Blurred lines and We cant stop smashing the charts and then now in the last two Quarters we have successful songs like Royals and to some extent Hard out here (successful due to the media attention the song got). Message and lyrics of these songs are totally opposite and also counter each other back. So my discussion is weather GP is confused what they want to hear on radio? Has 2013 been a year filled with contradictions ? Discuss

I think it's the same as any year: the public like catchy, memorable songs, no matter what their content is. A lot of my friends who don't like the content of Blurred Lines' lyrics still listen to it because they like the song itself because it's catchy.
