It doesn't really confirm, but the vast majority of performers at these nominations concerts have gone on to be nominated -- mainly in the general fields.

Well; Rihanna was in the same situation 2 years ago. She "skyped" a live performance of WFL from her LOUD tour, and she was still nominated for AOTY.
