This is going to be kinda awkward when the Christmas Freeze kills Dark Horse's minute radio play and all of Katys casual fans have already bought the song, meaning there's no one left to give the song its initial boost into the Top 10 like all her other singles have gotten.
Only way to ensure Dark Horse is a hit is to release it today and hope it catches on before the Christmas Freeze kills it. It's also already a quarter of the way to its Maximum sales in the US too, so they're gonna need to release the 4th single very soon after. Mess.

Guessing it was everyone voting Dark Horse instead of it that killed its chances for Single #2? So Dark Horse really has killed the era.
I wish they would have gone with Legendary Lovers or Walking On Air and saved this for summer
