I went from living at home to living alone 2000km away from home. Luckily, my Dad helped me get settled.
I wish I paid $800 per month. I pay so much money for like, 350 sq. ft. because I was new to Toronto and didn't know the city at all, so I needed an apartment in a good spot. Though, now that I know the city a lot better, I'll probably find a cheaper place soon.
Living alone can be isolating, but I like that I only have to worry about myself. For me, the freedom to be my true self makes everything worth it.
I've been living away from home for three years, first year was alone at college dorm, the next two I've been living with roommates. You think you can't do it at first, but you get used to it. When there's nobody to look after you life's the best teacher.
Nope, still with my mom and sister. I'm 18 and still in HS so it's understandable, even my sis is 24 and she's still here. She's trying to go and get an apartment or something but she's finally realizing what my mom has been telling her since day 1: it's too expensive.
I've been living alone in a one bedroom apartment for the past year and I love it. Gets lonely at times since I had to give up my dog, but I'll get an iguana or something eventually. You have nobody to worry about but yourself, you can do what you want whenever you want and it's all your space.
No i live with my parents but they dnt want me to move out cause they didnt move out until they were like 25. Im planning on moving our in the mext year or 2 but i have to let them know gently lol
Almost 21 and still living with parents. But I have to,cause I'm an underpaid intern now and I NEED to get done with this (ridiculous) internship in order to be able to have a remarkable career afterwards.
But if I had to,I don't think I'd ever chose to live alone tbh.I'll probably be living with a friend or something.
No. I'm a senior in high school and I'm probably doing community college for 2 years. Then I'll probably move out and get my own place for 2 years while I finish school.
I live alone in Chicago. I really like it and wouldn't want to live with anyone now. I'm not a very social person to begin with, though.
Where do you live? If you don't mind sharing... I would be happy living in Logan Square, Lakwview, Lincoln Square and Park, Wicker Park, and I guess Rogers Park.

I'm in East Lakeview, right on the border of Lincoln Park. I'm really happy with the area.
