I'm pretty sure HWR had nothing to do with this promotional slot. The Salvation Army who hosts the halftime show picked her because "they wanted to speak to a younger generation" or so I read.
I'm so proud of how far she's come. She looks a lot more comfortable performing here than she has on other big platforms in the past. Her dancing keeps getting better & she's grown into such a great entertainer. If she keeps getting better, Imagine how her career could turn out in a few years! This has been said many, many, many times before but she could become someone iconic like JLo (Who faces/faced a lot of the similar criticism about her vocals & dancing in the beginning.)
Now that she's proved herself as a performer to a lot of people, It would be nice if she could get a Times Square New Years Performance spot or something.

I love you too. But YOU CAN HEAR breathe and and stop and the the backup singers. If She was lipsynching we wouldn't of heard anything accept the album vocals. Back track and lipsynching aren't one and the same
omg she was amazing!!! her best performance ever!! best performance for 2013!! her dancing skills are amazing now. the young britney of our generation!!! I'm so proud for her!!
i watched and thought she was using prerecorded vocals. which i do not care about for her tbh because shes not ever going to be known for her singing, she might as well put on an amazing show whatever it takes, which she did
And I'm so glad she performed Like a Champion
