I recently just got offered this job, and I'm moving and will be living alone for the first time. How was your experience, moving out and living on your own?
I'm having so much trouble finding an apartment I like. Also Chicago is so damn expensive, 800$ barely gets you anything.
How did you handle the big move?

I've never had to live alone but I guarantee you if / when that day ever comes, I will be screwed.

I still live at home and I will be royally screwed when I do move out. I don't even know how a washing machine works.

I could never live alone, I just know it so I wouldn't even attempt to. I live with my parents right now but when I move out I will either be moving in with a friend or a person I'm in a relationship with. Dat solo life just ain't for me.

I would never live alone, it just sounds depressing. I would find roommates if I had to move out.

Where do you find roommates though?

I wouldn't know, I'm too young to be living on my own. But the first thing I would do is try to get one of my friends to move in with me, and there has to be some kind of website for it online.

My friends like a ten minutes away in the same city but somedays is still boring. You will, eventually, get tired of hanging just with them all the time or idk, maybe that's just me

No I live away for college. But if I did I would be prepared. I know how to cook, clean, and take great care of myself.
