Actually no, most young people don't know Mary. It's people in my parents' age. Kelly is way more of a household name than Mary, actually, but maybe Mary fit the general taste of the customers that shop at that store more. It really is a flop store though, but on the other hand, no one even knows about Kelly's Christmas album here. No one knew about the GH either, the last song of hers that got attention by radio was Stronger. And this one big radio station always mentions her. They mentioned that she's pregnant and they mentioned that she and Brandon have been trying it "like the rabbits".
Christmas albums aren't big here anyway, so promoting is unnecessary. The only one that could succeed with it this year is Leona since Germany is about the only place where people still think she's a global superstar. Her old stuff always starts to chart like crazy in winter and since she's probably promoting here, Kelly won't have a chance.
