It's pretty stupid not to consider your surroundings before getting intoxicated though, if you know there is dangerous wildlife in the area then don't get so drunk you pass out on the street, it's pretty easy. It's not the animals fault, it was acting upon it's own survival instincts, it needed to eat and he was easy prey.
