Ciera & Laura M, Saving graces of this season.
Just kidding. This is the best post-China season.

I knew Ciera was a bad bitch. She is officially my favorite to win.

Ciera and Tyson are the only ones that are actually playing the game. The rest are just passive players.
Hayden, Caleb, and Gervase are just followers of Tyson, Monica is a paranoid mess, and Katie is a lolwreck.
Go Ciera!

I'm glad Ciera is trying to play the game, but she's not playing it that well. There was no reason why she needed to write her Mom's name down.
I hope players like Hayden and Caleb come alive soon, they're running out of time. I wouldn't call Gervase passive, I think he's playing a smart game. I think Monica on the other hand is just trying to be nice and protect herself from being voted out after she was outed as being on the bottom. Katie did what she could this episode and ended up surviving for another week, so good for her. But yeah, unless Hayden and Caleb do something soon I think it's fair to say about half of the top eight (Laura M, Hayden, Caleb, Katie, maybe Monica) were all pretty passive. Which is why I think the pre-merge this season is going to end up being better than the merge. Next week should be interesting though, based on the previews.

What morons the women are.
You have the only pair left in the game, Ciera and her mother Laura, which automatically makes them a target, plus everyone wants Laura out of the game.
Then you have Katie, who is by herself, unaligned with anyone, and basically a sitting duck.
Then we have Monica, who just practically admitted two TCs ago that she is most likely at the bottom of the 7 person alliance.
Why not team up and at least force a tie against the men? Not here for another pagonging, tbh.

Aras kinda ****ed everyone over, he should of aligned with the two other pairs.. Than the women could take Ars + Vytas out at 6.

Great episode. Ciera really solidified her status as a villain, if they ever do another Heroes vs. Villains season.
At this point I would surprised if the dominant alliance of four don't stick together for as long as possible. This episode took so many twists and turns, but I still don't see why anyone, if given the choice, would take Ciera to the final over Monica. I think Monica being the perfect final three goat may have been the only miscalculation in Ciera's recent gameplay.

Loved seeing Laura ruthlessly destroy Vytas on RI. They tried to give her a sappy mom-love edit this season but she's still a badass.
As for Ciera... I take back everything good I've ever said about her. Now was the PERFECT time for the 4 loved ones to team up and take control. She's such an idiot for thinking she has a chance to beat Tyson. God.

Ciera really disappointed me too. She had everything to win. Tyson already had her on a high pedestal and other "favorites" too. She would've won over Hayden, Caleb or Katie easily. She screwed up. At this point, Tyson is still my favorite. He's really dominating this season.

I was spoiled (against my will) for what the final 3 is, NOT for who the winner is. I just think that based on the edit and the other competitors, Tyson's win (if it does indeed happen) is too obvious (a la Boston Rob).

The last season I watched was Survivor: One World, which was four seasons ago.
Is this season worth watching? (And also, the previous three seasons before this, is it worth watching as well?)
Please no spoilers. Thanks!

Survivor Phillippines really is good.
Not liking this season, now, though. Ciera and her mom were both annoying this week and it's looking like
Ciera
might win.

^^^ Philippines (25) is good, Caramoan (26) is horrible, BvW (27) is okay.

Pre-merge Caramoan did suck. And even though the editing and many of the outcomes were bad too, I liked a lot of the merge episodes. I felt like we really got to know all of the "characters" whereas this season there seem to be a lot passive players just floating in the middle. The newbies that season were atrocious players though, I must say.

I consider Caramoan to have the worst Final 3 of all time. In addition, characters like Shamar, Brandon, Phillip, and Cochran made the pre-merge awful, and
Corinne
going out during the merge ep ruined any momentum that the season might have otherwise gained.
My second least favorite season, right after the infamous Redemption Island.
But I agree that there were bigger "characters" on Caramoan than BvW. Unfortunately I disliked most of those characters.

Keep Tina and Katie in your prayers tonight. Their 25 year old son/brother was killed yesterday in a car crash.
